First, Not Only Network (#FNON) was born out of both experience and intention—a vision to create what didn’t exist for so many of us: a space where women of color in advertising, marketing, and communications could come together to connect, grow, and rise together.
Too often, we’ve been the only. The first. The one navigating it all without a blueprint or community.
FNON changes that.
We’re building a powerful collective where sisterhood meets strategy, where representation turns into restoration, and where every woman knows—you’re not alone here.
This isn’t just networking.
This is legacy work.

OUR MISSION
First, Not Only Network is designed to provide access and opportunities
for women of color at various levels in primarily advertising, marketing,
public relations, and communications. However, due to demand, we are
now open to all professional industries.
Our promise and commitment is to lift while climbing and ensure that being
the first does not mean being the only. Our purpose is to provide access
and support for women of color who look to network, and ultimately,
connect with purpose and intentionality to help one another.
